Past honorees include Don Galbreath and the late Ralph Braun of Winamac, who founded BraunAbility. The Society has inducted more than 300 individuals since 2005 and has recognized more than 1,685 individuals and teams. Innovations transform people’s lives and strengthen the economy in our region, state, nation and world. They define innovation is thinking creatively and developing ideas that provide solutions, add value and are implemented as new or different products, services and social initiatives. The Society is seeking to recognize the most innovative individuals and teams in Starke, Pulaski, LaPorte, Porter, Lake, Newton and Jasper Counties. The call for nominations from the seven-county region is open through July 5 th. The Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana, Ivy Tech Community College is looking for trailblazers to join its ranks.
